Last week:

• HD Hyundai and Palantir disclosed they are developing an “unmanned surface vehicle” (USV) to replace manned ships. The companies plan to build reconnaissance USVs by 2026 and expand to combat USV development.

• Palantir and Lowe’s hosted an AIP Now event focused on the Customer Service Engine. This was the “first of many.” The next one will be on “Public Safety Power Shutoffs” with PG&E on 18th April (sign up here).

• Palantir CTO published an article called “The Primacy of Winning” on Pirate Wires, unveiling key pillars of Palantir culture. One of them is to avoid mercenaries at all costs:

“To him, Palantir wasn’t a calling. Not giving him the offer was so hard — our investors weren’t happy and our own sense of self wobbled — but it led us to double down on the importance of missionaries. From that point forward, all salaries were capped below market, but with generous equity.

We were going to be a cult.”

• Shyam Sankar also disclosed the name of a new product to unleash the power of Ontology by building and managing AI Workflows:
