Palantir released a demo of its Artificial Intelligence Platform (“AIP”) for Defence, which helps operationalize the use of LLMs for military purposes:
“AIP unleashes the power of large language models and Cutting Edge AI for defense and Military organizations. LLMs and algorithms must be controlled in this highly regulated and sensitive context to ensure that they are used in a legal and ethical way.” - Palantir AIP Demo
Karp, in a letter called “AIP in action,” shared that AIP will be available to an initial group of customers in the coming weeks:
“The demand that we are seeing from the market for this new platform reflects the depth of the unmet need within institutions for intelligent and effective enterprise software.” - Alex Karp, Palantir CEO, AIP in action letter
Palantir signed a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Defence of Lituania.

“"If there were no adversaries, one could question the necessity of developing our technology. However, here in Lithuania you are at a dangerous border. And if you want the border to remain, you must have strong deterrents. Without them, you will have no border, because other countries will decide for you where the borders should be.” - Alex Karp, Palantir CEO, at Delfi

“Thiel came to this conclusion by late 2022. He believes Republicans are making a mistake in focusing on cultural flashpoints and should be more concerned with spurring U.S. innovation and competing with China.” - Reuters
The Guardian, a UK newspaper, shares Ex-minister David Davis's prediction of a “battle royale” over the $480mn NHS deal for which Palantir is the preferred candidate:
“Thousands of NHS staff already have access to data through its (Palantir) system.”- The Guardian
Bank of America included Palantir among the “20 stocks to play the AI / ChatGPT theme.”
