Palantir expanded its partnership with SurfAir to commercialize SurfOS, including OperatorOS, OwnerOS, and SurfOS Enterprise Solutions products. SurfOS is built on Palantir’s AIP and Foundry to bring modern software to the private aviation and air mobility industries.
“With Foundry and AIP powering SurfOS, we see a clear opportunity to build and define the central operating system for the future of aviation and air mobility, and our expanded commitment reflects our conviction in Surf Air Mobility and the opportunity ahead.” - Ted Mabrey, Palantir Global Head of Commercial.
Palantir deepened its partnership with Nvidia to manage Nvidia AI and Nemotron open models in sovereign environments. The focus is on US government agencies and US critical infrastructure.
“Customers will own self-improving models specific to their mission. The intelligent engine collects and stores user telemetry and trace data, then uses that data to post-train and align the model to areas where AI can add the most value. With this feedback loop, the model continually improves at supporting specific operational tasks.” - Palantir press release
“Combining Palantir infrastructure with NVIDIA’s AI and Nemotron models will allow the U.S. government to unleash the full power of LLMs while removing the underlying security risks and rational concerns around proprietary insights migrating into the weights of closed models.” Alex Karp, Palantir CEO
