Foxglove, the Doctors’ Association UK, the National Pensioners’ Convention, and Just Treatment are suing the NHS over “patient privacy fears” for having awarded Palantir to manage its Federated Data Platform. NHS England dismissed the four organizations’ concerns as “totally incorrect.”
“The government has gambled £330m on overhauling how NHS data is handled but bizarrely seems to have left off the bit where they make sure their system is lawful.” - Rosa Curling, director of Foxglove
Palantir is a finalist of the “23 Platts Global Energy Awards.” Winners will be announced on December 7th.
The Financial Times mentioned Palantir:
“It has certainly been striking to see the vital role that Ukrainian start-ups and big US tech firms, such as Microsoft, Palantir and Starlink, have played in resisting Russian aggression.” - The Financial Times
Palantir CEO Alex Karp will be on center stage for Saturday's opening panel at the 2023 Reagan National Defense Forum. The panel will cover national security-related topics: UKR, China, the Middle East, AI.
