Palantir announced it will release its Q4 results on Monday, February 3, 2025, following the close of U.S. markets. Will it surprise us again? In the post below, I highlighted the key themes affecting 2025:
Palantir signed a multi-year deal with Boundless Discovery to build its flagship offering on AIP. Boundless Discovery uses AI to understand complex events. Palantir was mentioned in the Telegraph UK about how AI protects the Baltic Sea from sabotages:
"Tech companies such as Palantir are on the cutting edge of this, providing machine learning systems that plug into large language models to help make judgments on traffic movements."

Palantir was reportedly in talks to invest in Shield AI, leading defense tech, one of the first to deploy Warp Speed, Palantir's Manufacturing OS, along with Anduril, L3 Harris, and Panasonic Energy NA. Is this the beginning of Palantir Ventures?
Jefferies reiterated its “SELL” rating due to its “retail premium:”
"Active institutional ownership increased 5pts to 32% post the Nasdaq 100 inclusion, which may reduce the retail premium going forward."
However, retail investors are not the ones buying the top…
“We anticipate reported GAAP metrics for $PLTR will have cost headwinds that are not modeled by the street, however the primary focus will be on the topline, AEPS and AEBITDA.”

Open AI may be hiring forward deployment engineers but the question really is "What can Open AI do for a companies bottom line"? No one will spend money to hire a deployment team to lose money. this is something that differentiates PLTR from many others.
