Palantir and Carahsoft, the Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider, expanded their partnership to provide mission-critical software to the Canadian Public Sector. Carahsoft will be the sole distributor of the Palantir Platform. Palantir and Carahsoft initially partnered in 2022 and expanded their relationship to provide Apollo to the US Public Sector in 2023. Partnership expansion equals success.
“Awarded in September 2023, Carahsoft’s Supply Arrangement represents the first time Palantir licenses will be widely available to SLSA clients and provides cost-effective options for evaluating Palantir as part of a pilot, as well as the procurement of enterprise-wide licenses.” - Carahsoft press release.
“Revenue growth from U.S.government contracts has slowed in recent quarters, precipitating a reversal of the company's stock-market ascension. Analysts and investors point to Palantir's loss of momentum in corners of the federal government, as agencies such as the Defense Department are increasingly looking at competitors that are less expensive than Palantir and offer more-flexible tech solutions.” - The Wall Street Journal.
Unfortunately, the WSJ failed to mention that part of the slowdown is due to a reduction in the general DoD contract award:
